The last days of the holiday season flew by like a Zeta Plus Hummingbird and before knowing it I was back in the capital and didn't manage to complete the spray-paint work.

So lets report on the small progress I made in these days. I first primed the GM Command with all-purpose primer after sanding everything, cleaning in soapy water and rinsing with tap water. Everything looked fine after that (see picture below).

Work on the HGUC GM Command finally got to a state where I can prime it. After fixing the seam-lines, doing some movability mods to the waist, arms and the neck I completed the work on the power-supply (in the torso) and it's wiring to the head-LED (video is added below). The last thing I did before lots and lots of sanding and fixing was adding some details with PS-sheets under the skirt and on the elbows. I'm quite satisfied with my first try of plaplating (used PS-sheets from ebay). A video concerning this is linked below too.

Ich habe die Profilseiten aufgewertet. Nun seht ihr alle eure Modelle, Kommentare, Tweets und nochmal eine Blog Übersicht. Das alles lädt mit Ajax, damit man die Seite auch wirklich benutzen kann und das sehr schnell

Nun muss ich noch die Modellbauer Liste irgendwie so umbauen, das "Meisten Modelle", "Beste Modelle", "Aktivität" oder so angezeigt wird. Ich hab noch keinen Plan, ob ich diese Daten zusammen ziehen kann

Wow, karsten, das neue Plamo.de ist der Hammer! Es sieht richtig richtig gut aus! Ich bin sehr beeindruckt! Und jetzt auch nach web 2.0 standard!

Ok, ich werd versuchen mindestens 1 mal im Monat was hochzuladen, und eine Art Tagebuch zu führen. Vielelicht kommen auch einpaar Tutorien.

Btw @ Kasten: Hast du noch die Alte Forumsdatenbank da? Weil ich würde gerne nochmal die Tau Krisis Bauanleitung mal in Englisch schreiben wollen. Bilder hab ich noch bei Photobucket.

Someone at Ebay is selling EX-Model Argama's for a real cheap price of 13 € (including shipping) and since I always wanted to have one of these I grabbed one (and think of buying a second).

Metallic parts for the engine, 1/1700 mobile suits (Mk-2,Zeta & Rick Dias), great details and all the option parts make this model kit nearly perfect.

What can I say more. Grab it if you find it somewhere cheap.

Ich bin dabei die Ausstellung schöner zu machen. Nur leider muss ich grad los und von daher sieht es noch aus wie Kraut und Rüben. Wird bestimmt eine lange Nacht, aber ich bin überzeugt, das es dann auch wirklich toll sein wird!

So nach einem kleinen Marathon-Umbau erstrahlt die Ausstellung in neuem Glanz. Ich hoffe es sieht gut aus und lässt sich leicht durchsuchen. Filter kommen die Tage noch dazu und ich muss mal sehen, wie man besser von Modell zu Modell kommt.

Aber ich bin so erstmal sehr zufrieden!

Was für eine Arbeit. Ich weine still vor mich hin, während ich die alten Threads ins Drupal kopiere. Wie weit versteckt waren all diese tollen Bilder, Filme und Informationen. Irgendwo tief vergraben im SMF.

Und nun muss ich mich mit miesem HTML abkämpfen, die Posts möglichst gut verschlagworten und das mit Inhalten seit ca. 2006. Da hab ich ja noch was vor mir. Aber je mehr ich wieder sehe, desto mehr denke ich, das es sich lohnt.
