Gunpla Review: HG Cgue D.E.E.P. Arms
Haha. Someone found my hideout ^^
Good brushes don't loose hairs and won't loose their shape (hairs pointing in different directions) that fast. Esp. if you paint details you want to have a nice pointy shaped brush in order to get the paint where it is needed.
So lets see. How much did I paint for my synthetics. The pointy one from my video costs 1.15 € (~1.50$) and the flat a little bit more. I think this should be the minimum you should pay for one brush. Today I bought a bigger flat one for 3€ (~4.20$). But expect to pay more than 10$ for quality real-hair brushes (a friend of mine gave me two as a present
.
Better brushes are always sold with a (transparent) plastic tube to protect the hairs.
Don't know what brands you can get your hands on. I'm using da vinci brushes mainly. They are sold in every handicraft shop I know. JUNIOR SYNTHETICS is the synthetic hair line and MAESTRO the Kolinsky sable hair line.
BTW:
@Kars-T: I've got a review of the sponsored kit.

Yeah, well maybe I'll just

I was just wondering because a huge store called Michaels had most brushes for like 18 dollars and they only had a metallic barrier around the bristols(is that more than standard)? The own that I have right now has no protection and the bristols aren't wrecked but they aren't fine tipped like they should be.
By the way I can't read anything on this site, but is it really active and like new submissions in the gallery all the time?
