Working on the white base
Hi again. This will be the last entry for a while. I've found a descent job near Berlin and will be moving there in the next weeks. This long job-search was quite productive hobby-wise but other then that...
So I finished my White Base yesterday really quick and can now present some pictures (and a video).
Painting was done with metallic spray paint that again peeled off at some spots while masking. These Dupli Color Auto Color acyllic-laques don't like to stick to plastic. To make it worse I didn't even find the right thinner to thin the paint that I extracted from the cans to correct the bare-plastic-spots with the brush. All that resulted in uneven spots here and there :
But well...it's finished and reboxed.
Here are some pictures:

And the video:

Thanks!

I'll try to let the paint dry a little bit longer next time. The surface should have been clean because of the supersonic bath treatment (first with soap, then without).
Haha...I won't get to 'serious' modeling this year again. Searching for an appartment, moving places, starting a new job. Busy Busy.
Congratulations on your new

About peeling off paints with masking tape. Sometimes it helps to let paints cure for some days. But mostly its because of an unclean surface.
Wish you good luck on your career.
